About Aswaatul Masaajid

A need has arose in recent years to have live streaming from our Masaajid. It is meant to complement the Receivers which is limited to specific areas. Live Streaming over the internet will allow the communities of each Masjid to listen to any bayaan program or Salaah, in any Masjid which will extend the environment of the Masjid to our ladies at home, our youth, and the entire Ummah of Nabi Muhammed ﷺ throughout the world. It is for this reason that we launched Aswaatul Masaajid in 2012, to create a live audio streaming platform of different Masaajid in South Africa and throughout the world.

livemasjid.com has the following features:

• search for any Masjid or Aalim by name or location: town, city, province and country
• see which Masjid is currently streaming now, and listen immediately. The green status lights automatically indicate if the stream is active
• listen and download recordings from each Masjid in MP3 format. All streams are automtically recorded and available immediatly for download
• get notified whenever a Masjid or Aalim starts an audio stream, via mobile push notifications, email or Telegram directly on your phone
• see salaah times for each Masjid
• Admin panel for Masjid admins to manage their streaming account, including management of recordings
• Fully manage the streaming device via WiFi, and manage and schedule recordings
